The Songs of 1974
For many of us, music was either an anchor or an outlet during the turbulent years in the early 1970s. To this day some of those tunes pop up into my consciousness. When they do, they bring with them a host of memories tied to that music and time.
In case you might be interested in a musical trip down memory lane, Wikipedia lists the Billboard Year-End Hot 100 singles of 1974. If you have a Spotify account, there is already a Top Hits of 1974 playlist that is sure to bring back some memories of this pivotal time in our lives.
Perhaps a few song titles will trigger some memories for you. Here are a dozen I picked out of the top 100 hits:
