The reunion group held a meeting on January 4, 2024 by Zoom. Rob Fletcher provided these notes.

Reception table
Steve Carlson shared notes and items needed for the reception table for the primary Taylor Mt. event on Saturday August 3rd, 2024, including tables, ID badges with photos, and more. Steve requested support from anyone who could assist.
Decorations and Entertainment
The Decorations and Entertainment committee to be divided into two committees. These are:
- Decorations Committee: Trudy Baever Briggs, Suzy Van Hout Lindeke
- Activities and Entertainment Committee: to be headed by Steve Carlson
Venue
A visit and review trip to the Taylor Mountain facilities were discussed as a need to facilitate layout and location of various activities at the August 3rd event. Kerry is planning a trip out to the Puget Sound area and will be coordinating the Taylor Mountain visit. This is potentially scheduled for the end of January or early February. Things to confirm with them are:
- PA system and how to tap into for music
- Tables and chairs
- Acceptable methods and places to hang and place decorations
- Best layout and locations for activities, food, etc.
Contract
La Jean asked about the signed contract with Taylor Mountain. This is needed to formally begin formal event discussions with the Taylor Mountain folks.
Music
Music options were discussed. Scott Hieronymus was mentioned as a possible provider of recorded DJ music in a previous meeting. Kerry confirmed in that previous planning meeting that Scott would be willing to do this. Rob Fletcher will follow up on the January 18th meeting regarding any ASCAP/royalty payment issues.
Costs
We need to firm up the event costs with each committee. An action item for committees to develop a first-pass costing/budget was listed as something needed for the next meeting. These committees are:
- Class Alumni Search and Invite: Tom Salzer, Karen Mueller-Wohlfert
- Decorations: Trudy Baever Briggs, Suzy VanHout Lindeke
- Activities and Entertainment: Steve Carlson
- Finance: La Jean Heim Rohland, Kerry Brown, Catherine Brady, Tom Salzer
- Food and beverage: Trudy Baever Briggs, Kerry Brown, Suzy VanHout Lindeke
- Golf tournament: Greg Jones, Kerry Brown
- 501(c)7 Legal Formation: Tom Salzer, Catherine Brady, Steve Carlson
The major cost items are known at this time to be:
- Taylor Mt. rental
- Photographer
- Activities and Entertainment
- Food
- Beverages
- Reception table, name tags, etc.
- Decorations
- Various other items
501(c)(7) status
The 501(c)7 status activity was put on hold due to the Christmas and New Year holidays
Recruiting
A need to begin recruiting other class of ’74 members to start helping and getting involved was identified as a need and an action item. Rob Fletcher to post a request for needed support and involvement.
