Reunion Weekend Schedule!
FRIDAY, AUGUST 2
Golf tournament on August 2 (10 am)
GOLFERS! Golf tournament is on Friday, Aug. 2 at the Auburn Golf Course. Tee time is 10:00 am so arrive by 9-9:30 am. Organizer Greg Jones advises: “Get there early to warm up your old bones and get your tee time and goodies!”
Greg adds:
“We’ve decided to do a scramble format to make it go a little faster and more enjoyable. Prize money hasn’t changed except for low score and individual will be replaced with top two teams with low score. Also closest to pin on two par 3’s and longest drive is still in play.”
The cost is $79 per round. Twenty-two people have registered so far. For details and to register by August 2, contact Greg Jones.

Tour of Mount Rainier High School (2 pm)
A tour of the new Mount Rainier High School will be provided from 2:00 to 3:00 pm on Friday, August 2.

Friday night mixer on August 2 (5 pm)
MIXER! Join us on Friday, August 2 for a mixer at the All-Star Sports Bar. Show up anytime after 5:00 pm.
There is no pre-registration required for the mixer. Come as you are. Buy your own food and drinks at the bar.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 3
Class of 1974 celebrates 50 years! (4:15 pm)
REUNION! The Mount Rainier High School Class of 1974 celebrates 50 years on August 3.
- Time: 4:15 – 9:30 pm. You may arrive anytime after 4:15 pm for appetizers and beverages.
- Attire: Dress comfortably for warm weather.
- Dinner served: 5:00 – 6:30 pm.
- All-group picture and dance lessons: After dinner.
- Venue clean-up: 9:30 – 10:30 pm.

PARKING and ACCESS
- Parking: After you drive on the long driveway off 204 th Street, attendants will direct you to parking area. Please don’t park in the road.
- Disabled drop-off: If you need to be dropped off to the venue, ask the parking attendant for directions.
- Main entrance: Look for balloons and MRHS banner near the covered patio. Ask the parking attendant for directions.
- About the venue: Taylor Mountain Ranch is a beautiful private ranch in a peaceful rural setting where we can become acquainted again, taste delicious food, see school day photos of ourselves, learn some dance moves, or simply visit with friends.
BEVERAGES, MUSIC, PHOTOS
- Beverages served at bar: A variety of alcohol will be available at the bar. There is a licensed bartender on site who will serve beer and wine. If you prefer to bring your own alcohol, please label it and leave it at the bar. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available too.

- Photo booth: There will be an open photo booth on site to get pictures with your high school pals. It will be open for two hours.
- Photographer: A professional photographer will take a group alumni photo after dinner. He will also take candid and casual photos of our classmates for two hours.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 4
Potluck picnic on Sunday, August 4 (10 am)
POTLUCK! Mt. Rainier Class of 1974 members and their partners are invited to attend a free informal potluck picnic on Sunday, August 4, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at Doug and Debbie Vanous’s home in Enumclaw.
Bring a dish to share with classmates. You may bring food to barbecue, if you wish.
Doug and Debbie will provide tables, chairs, shaded areas, paper plates and utensils and bottled water. There will be three barbecue grills available to use.
